Taiwan-based Gigabyte Technology, a major manufacturer of motherboards, graphics cards and other hardware, has named ASBIS Ireland as exclusive distributor for its range of motherboards, graphic cards, networking and cooling products in Ireland.

Gigabyte Technology UK & Ireland MD, John Hung, sees the partnership as an excellent opportunity for the manufacturer to enter the Irish market. He said ASBIS was the ideal partner to ensure Gigabyte increased its market share in Ireland.

ASBIS Ireland country manager Trish Egan said the company was “really pleased to be adding another prestigious brand to the ASBIS portfolio.” She said Gigabyte’s motherboards had earned a global reputation for innovation, quality and reliability. “We are looking forward to building a successful partnership promoting and distributing their range of products,” added Egan.
